Chabad of the Loop, Gold Coast- Center For Jewish Life is a nonprofit outreach organization committed to reawakening Jewish life within a person. CJL has locations in Downtown's Loop, the Gold Coast and branches in Lincoln Park and South Loop.

Since 1987 CJL initiatives are dedicated to serve both the local Jewish Community and to travelers from all around the world. Our work is geared to building healthier communities in an inclusive approach, without regard to a person's background, affiliation or level of observance.

All Jews are "members." There are no membership fees, tickets, board members, etc. Our philosophy rejects the insular, segregated self-perception of organizations and communities. We strongly believe in an interactive community while maintaining the uniqueness of each individual. All are welcome! One people. One family.
